Datos frente al PET 330ml.

Ecobox Alzola 5l. da nombre al desarrollo de un formato de bag-in-box, fruto de un proceso de investigación en colaboración con IHOBE. Garantiza mejores datos medioambientales correspondientes al proceso de envasado y distribución del Agua Mineral Natural, como se muestran a continuación:

Tomando la botella de PET de 330ml. como referencia, Ecobox Alzola 5l. supone una mejora en términos productivos, de envasado y distribución de Agua Mineral Natural:

Aumenta en un 71% el uso de materiales renovables, tales como el cartón, en el proceso de envasado.

Propicia la disminución del uso de materiales en un 92%.

El consumo agregado de agua que supone la fabricación y distribución del bag-in-box de Alzola frente al formato PET de 330ml. representa un ahorro del 69%.

En consecuencia, frente a la huella de carbono que representa consumir una botella de 330ml., ésta se verá disminuida en un 86% cuando su equivalente se consuma desde un Ecobox Alzola 5l.

Impacto Medioambiental.

La unidad de medida que aglutina las emisiones de gases de impacto medioambiental se define como Gramos de CO2 equivalente. Tomando como referencia los 330ml. de un tetra-brik o de una lata de aluminio, Ecobox Alzola 5l. representa en comparación con estos otros formatos, un menor impacto medioambiental, tal y como muestra la siguiente tabla.

En definitiva, Ecobox Alzola 5l. representa una alternativa en favor del medio ambiente respecto al consumo de botellines de PET de un solo uso como muestra la tabla 1 y en comparación con otros materiales, sugiere un impacto entre casi 5 y 8 veces menor que en el caso del brik o el aluminio, tal y como refleja la tabla 2.

Ecobox Alzola 5l. es reciclable.

Os presentamos un formato que facilita la separación de materiales para su posterior reciclado. Al contrario que un brik (plástico multicapa unido a otra capa de aluminio y adherido con colas a un exterior de papel o cartón lo que lo hace casi imposible de reciclar), el bag-in-box es fácil de separar. Tan sencillo como abrir la caja por su parte superior para separar el cartón del plástico y dotarle de una nueva utilidad o depositarla en el contenedor correspondiente.

The Alzola 5l. Ecobox has been launched to provide our clients the guarantees of quality of Alzola Natural Mineral Water with the lowest environmental impact, in comparison with the traditional packaging solutions, usually made of glass (750ml.) or PET (330, 500, 1500ml.).

Comparative data versus PET 330ml.

The Alzola 5l. Ecobox is a bag-in-box solution, which has been developed in order to achieve the ecodesing standards stablished on a research process in collaboration with IHOBE (Public Environmental Management Company).

Based on the 330ml PET bottle as a reference, the Alzola 5l. Ecobox ensures us improvements in terms of production, packaging and distribution of Natural Mineral Water:

Increases by 71% the use of renewable materials such as cardboard during the packaging process.

Reduces material usage by 92%.

The aggregate water consumption involved in the manufacture and distribution of the Alzola´s bag-in-box compared to the 330ml PET format represents a saving of 69%.

Consequently, compared to the carbon footprint generated by the 330ml bottle consumption, this will be reduced by 86% when such the equivalence of this botlle is consumed from an Alzola 5l. Ecobox.

The Environmental Impact.

There is a unit of measurement that brings together the emissions of environmental impact gases, which is defined as Equivalent Grams of CO2. Taking as a reference the 330ml. that usually cubes any brick or aluminum packaging when referring to water, the Alzola 5l. Ecobox represents in comparison with these other formats, a lower environmental impact, as shown in the following table.

Definetly, the Alzola 5l. Ecobox brings us an alternative in favor of the environment, regarding the consumption of single-use PET bottles as shown in table 1 and in comparison with other materials, such as brick or aluminum, represents a lower impact, which is to be between almost 5 and 8 times better, as shown in table 2.

It is a recyclable solution.

Alzola comes with a format that facilitates the separation of materials for their recycling. Unlike a brick – multilayer plastic joined to another layer of aluminum and glued to a paper or cardboard exterior which makes it almost impossible to recycle-, the bag-in-box is easy to separate. As simple as opening the box from its upper part to separate the cardboard from the plastic and give it a new utility or deposit it in the corresponding container.
